A lightness of touch respects the listed building’s historic character OF London Georgian House Design, and conservation area context, with most of the original home being unaltered. The rear projection has been rebuilt slightly larger to greatly improve the upper accommodation, yet matches the existing appearance. By raising the projection’s roof, a previously unusable space is transformed into a glazed reading gallery, offering unique views over the rear garden and the neighborhood beyond.
